Jan Plewka took five years to create his new album, which will be released on the Clouds Hill label: "Eine Art Soloalbum" is a blend of music and art. The songs tell of the cycle of life in the rush of the seasons, of love, death, pain and longing, in other words: the big and small questions that people ask themselves. A universe with its own sensual, enchanting and, above all, very personal Plewka sound.

With the new album, Jan Plewka opens another exciting chapter in his multifaceted musical career as a solo artist: He became known as the defining voice of the rock band Selig, through his acclaimed Rio Reis interpretations, theater work and his participation in "Unter meinem Bett". With "Eine Art Soloalbum", Jan Plewka is now bringing his very own signature and artistic identity to the fore more than ever.
