Jazz auf der kleinen Waldbühne

In the organizer's words:

Guitar and piano - the Bergisch Gladbach jazz duo presents well-known music by greats such as Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter and Pat Metheny on the classic instruments of jazz.
The duo with Fritz Herweg (guitar) and Holger Crump (piano), which was founded in 2021 and can be heard for the second time at the city's Kultursommer, presents standard works from the American Songbook, original compositions and new arrangements.
The musicians explore the potential of the genre with great enthusiasm. And take listeners into the world of bebop, cool jazz, swing and Latin. In an appealing sound language that guarantees a relaxed cultural summer evening with catchy grooves and subtle sounds.
