As part of the Jazz Fest Passau 2025
Norway's answer to Jaco Pastorius on electric bass and Niels Henning Ørsted Pedersen on acoustic piano, meets the "new young European lion", Daniel Bulatkin from the Czech Republic, on keys.
The music ranges from acoustic modern jazz to electric high voltage, funky and rocky, compositions mostly written by Mathisen. Seamlessly in and out of acoustic and electric musical landscapes, always driven to the extreme with intense power, dedication, drive and virtuosity on all instruments.
But, the trio also has a wonderful other side to making music together, joy, vibrancy and expression of art with positive humor.
