Jazz in der Milchsackfabrik will move to the Dondorf Druckerei from March 2026 and become Jazz in der Dondorf Druckerei. Every month, different jazz artists will come to the 2og:dondorf and enchant the floor with fantastic jazz.
On April 29, the trio of Max Clouth, Oli Rubow and Lara Fischer will be coming to the Druckerei. Anyone who follows the major jazz events in this country was recently able to experience Max Clouth live at the 56th German Jazz Festival. In the sold-out broadcasting hall of the Hessischer Rundfunk, the guitar individualist and his band Ragawerk thrilled the audience. In 2017, Max Clouth was awarded the Jazz Prize of his home city of Frankfurt for his imaginative bridge-building inspired by John McLaughlin, among others.
His current project is a trio with Oli Rubow on drums and Lara Fischer on bass. Rubow is known to many through his many years with the Hattler Band (since 2000) and Wolfgang Schmid's Kick (since 2006). He has also worked with artists such as the Fantastischen Vier, Philipp Poisel and the HR and NDR big bands. His dynamic playing is strongly characterized by electronic soundscapes in which he integrates sequencers, electronic drums and effects.
Lara Fischer is active as a live and studio musician and plays with the 80s hard rock band Meloi, among others. In Max Clouth's trio, she provides a sonic foundation with her bass-driven, rhythmic structures, which in places is reminiscent of the experimental sound of the Krautrock band CAN.
