The Joscho Stephan Trio, known for its masterful interpretation of gypsy jazz, meets the virtuoso violinist Costel Nitescu, one of the most outstanding interpreters of gypsy swing. Together they take their audience into the fascinating world of jazz manouche and revive the spirit of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli - with a modern and exciting twist.

Joscho Stephan, considered one of the world's leading guitarists in traditional jazz, is known for his virtuosic, precise playing and passionate improvisations. In combination with Costel Nitescu, whose violin playing conveys both technical brilliance and deeply felt emotions, a unique musical symbiosis is created.

The trio, consisting of Joscho Stephan (guitar), Sven Jungbeck (rhythm guitar) and Volker Kamp (double bass), forms the rhythmic backbone that creates the space for Stephan and Nitescu's solos. The combination of fast, virtuoso passages and soulful melodies makes for a varied and captivating musical experience.
