Jazz und Weltmusik im Hofgarten

In the organizer's words:

Our "Jazz on a Summer's Day" picnic, four open-air concerts on four Saturdays at the music pavilion between the Schauspielhaus and Schloss Jägerhof.

Since 1978, the afternoons in the park have been an invitation to everyone to enjoy culture and diverse musical cultures together.
With Free admission and the request to simply bring your own drinks, a small picnic and blankets or chairs, music enthusiasts come together at the music pavilion.

Two bands play every Saturday, the program on 16.08.

Three of a Kind" brings together three experienced musicians who have dedicated themselves to the classical organ trio tradition - and at the same time lend it their own contemporary signature. The line-up of Hammond organ, guitar and drums provides the ideal setting for swinging standards, soulful grooves and a compact, sonically versatile interplay.

Under the name FL!M, five musicians come together to create a shared vision of the future based on the music of the 21st century. With the tools of their trade and the rich treasures of a repertoire of instruments from the oldest traditions, they paint the picture of a tangible utopia with both patience and temperament: This is the sound of a culture of sharing that no longer wants to have anything in common with the status quo and resists any clichés.
