JazzSession - Erwin Trio

In the organizer's words:

The Altstadtschmiede, in cooperation with the Jazzinitiative, once again invites you to a jazz session. This time the Erwin Trio will be opening. The Dortmund trio combines classical music, jazz and original compositions to create a varied concert experience. With works ranging from Bach to Piazzolla, artistic freedom and a touch of French chanson tradition, Eric Richards (bass), Miroslaw Tybora (accordion) and Philipp Staege (drums) will delight their audience - sometimes virtuosic, sometimes playful, always with a joy of playing.

Afterwards, as always: clear the stage for everyone! The session is open to musicians of all instruments, levels and styles - whether spontaneous or planned, whether jazz standard or experimental improvisation.

For years, the jazz session in the Altstadtschmiede has stood for musical encounters, creative freedom and a lively club atmosphere. Listen, join in or simply enjoy the evening - anything is possible.
