JAZZY FRIDAY am DONNERSTAG

In the organizer's words:

Jazz for gourmets

presents the trio "Stories In Jazz" with Wilfried Bokelmann (vibraphone), Wolfgang Wierzyk (piano) and Thomas Rutt (double bass).

For this occasion, the trio grows into a quartet, as Jo Schneider on drums brings additional groove to the arrangements.

The program is wide-ranging: Scandinavian jazz (including Esbjörn Svensson), jazzed-up classical themes by J.S. Bach and Charles Gounod, virtuoso songs by vibraphonist Wolfgang Schlüter (NDR Bigband), Keith Jarrett, Michel Camilo and Jacob Karlzon (Viktoria Tolstoy) as well as original compositions round off the program.
