Joe Astray:

A bus, a guitar, a voice somewhere between Leonard Cohen and Billy Bragg - Joe Astray is a musical nomad who tells stories of freedom, longing and social criticism. His songs are raw, honest and poetic, sometimes full of melancholy, sometimes with biting humor.

Between indie, folk and punk, he casts a spell over the audience - with lyrics that touch the heart and a stage presence that needs no pigeonholing. If you fancy an evening full of honest music that moves you, surprises you and sometimes makes you smile, you shouldn't miss this show.

"Dark Kid" is the name of The Green Apple Sea's fifth album, which will be released this fall on K&F Records/

Hometown Caravan (Dresden) in the fall.

As always, the listener can expect warm, lovingly arranged music and beautiful melodies

combined with unagitated but powerful songwriting.
