ur bistro concerts are always something very special. Particularly quiet but also with a special atmosphere created by the proximity of band and audience. With JOE'S TRUCK STOP, we are offering an event on a Monday for the first time.

On a ridge in the Ohio River Valley, on a porch where Kentucky can be seen through the bare trees in winter, this smoky mix of bluegrass, honky tonk, western swing and everything else that can be produced by a wooden box with steel wire is created. You can hear the years of traveling the country to meet other fiddlers, songwriters and travelers in the music of Joe's Truck Stop. The songs are stories of life on the road, love, temptation, heartbreak, family, banjo picking, tobacco spitting women, gas station sushi and much more.
The story of Joe Macheret himself is a typical American story. A first-generation American who discovered a deep love of American music at a young age. From bluegrass to country to funk, Macheret, the son of Russian and Romanian immigrants, fell in love with the tradition of telling stories through music and songwriting. His bluegrass and country songs are neither great love letters to America nor false idealistic stories. These songs are experiential.
