No other Christmas music fills the heart and senses with as much expressiveness and variety as Bach's Christmas Oratorio, BWV 248. It tells the Christmas story, reflects on the miracle of Christ's birth, rejoices with joy - and invites you to pause, to marvel and to look forward to the festive season.

On Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 18:00, you will hear cantatas I, III, IV and VI in the Erlöserkirche an der Münchner Freiheit in Schwabing - a musical experience full of splendor, reflection and Advent spirit.

Under the overall direction of Óscar Payá Prats, the Munich Concert Choir, Concerto München, Laura Richter (soprano), Johanna Krödel (alto), Moon Yung Oh (tenor) and Jakob Schad (bass) will perform and sing for you.
