Bach's Christmas Oratorio - all 6 cantatas in one evening

A festive concert event of a special kind awaits you on the Sunday after Christmas: The Bachverein Düsseldorf will be performing the complete Christmas Oratorio (BWV 248) by Johann Sebastian Bach under the direction of Alexander Niehues. The work, which is characterized by the splendour and grace of the choruses and arias as well as the inward devotion of the chorales and the simplicity of the Gospel narrative, will be accompanied by the baroque orchestra "Churpfälzische Hofcapelle". Four internationally renowned soloists will turn this masterpiece into a musical highlight.
