With Boogie Woogie Dimensions, Axel Zwingenberger and Joja Wendt present two of the world's leading pianists of this energetic piano style in top form. The two have enjoyed a musical friendship for almost 40 years, which is now documented for the first time on a joint album. Their approaches could hardly be more different - Zwingenberger as a tradition-conscious master of the driving groove, Wendt as a versatile virtuoso with an inexhaustible joy of playing. Their interplay creates fascinating dialogues on two concert grand pianos - sometimes explosive, sometimes subtle, always improvisational and full of drive. Recorded without cuts, the album captures the magic of the moment and builds a bridge from the rough beginnings of boogie woogie to the big stages of today.

The pair are now bringing this special energy to the stage live for the first time. They will be presenting their album on their exclusive club tour across Germany in 2026, and it is already clear that every evening will be unique and no two nights will be the same.
