Under the motto "Back to the Beats", Juicy Beats 2026 bundles all its strength into one festival day. No weighing up between two days, but a continuous festival experience from noon until late at night. The line-up will also reflect this motto by placing even greater emphasis on the danceability of the music. The Westfalenpark Dortmund will be transformed into a unique and spectacular festival location thanks to an elaborate decoration and lighting concept. The Juicy Beats Festival has always been perceived as a festival for young people who may be experiencing their first festival visit with us. With the new Next Generation Ticket, which will be available exclusively for young people up to and including the age of 18 from February 12, this claim will be even more visible in the future. In addition, all children up to the age of 10 will be able to attend the festival free of charge.
Juicy Beats is deeply rooted in the Ruhr region. The festival sees itself as a cultural
Dortmund and NRW, integrated into the region, with a strong focus on local partners such as Brinkhoff's, Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts, UPOP, Verein für urbane Popkultur e.V. and the City of Dortmund's Youth Welfare Office. The organizers also include a modern gastronomic offer, which will increasingly focus on vegan and vegetarian food and a wider range of drinks in the future. However, this also means that young musicians will continue to be offered a stage with determination.
Juicy Beats sees itself as a home for the headliners of tomorrow. For acts on the verge of a breakthrough and for music that moves forward. Names like Zartmann (2024) or Ski Aggu and Nina Chuba (2023) show how early Juicy Beats recognizes trends and brings them to the stage. Since its foundation in 1996, the festival has become an integral part of the German festival landscape.
In 2026, visitors can once again look forward to four fixed stages. There will also be numerous dance floors that will transform Westfalenpark into a spacious club area and give visitors the opportunity to switch between different sounds depending on their personal taste. From hip-hop and RnB to bass and tech house to 2000s hits, there's something for everyone. The popular Silent Disco is also part of the program again and, with over 5,000 headphones lit up in front of the main stage, provides one of the most visually impressive festival images of the evening, which for many visitors is the perfect end to an atmospheric festival day.
The line-up combines well-known and up-and-coming DJs as well as live acts from exciting
newcomers to established artists. The typical Juicy Beats sound between hip-hop, indie pop and electronic forms the heart of the festival. For over 30 years, Juicy Beats has stood for partying and a line-up that has its finger on the pulse of the times. Many artists such as Kraftklub and Deichkind played their first major festival appearances here, long before they later filled large halls. This is exactly what makes the festival what it is today: The focus is not on individual stars, but on the festival itself as a holistic concept.
