With the album "Safe Place", Julian & Roman Wasserfuhr open a new chapter in their joint work. Since their debut Remember Chet (2006), the brothers have been among the defining voices of German jazz and enjoy international recognition.

Their music combines virtuosity and sensitivity with a keen sense of melody and emotional depth. Safe Place stands for reduction, clarity and the power of music to touch directly.

Together with cellist Jörg Brinkmann, they have created a multifaceted work that ranges from quiet melancholy to euphoric expansiveness. In it, the Wasserfuhrs consistently develop their unmistakable sound - transgressive, modern and deeply personal.
