Julius Fischer & Christian Meyer: Weihnachtsschmonzette 2025

It's schmonzt again! The award-winning Christmas professionals Julius Fischer and Christian Meyer celebrate the festival of love with you all in their inimitably silly way! Because: Without Schmonzette no Christmas harmony, without Schmonzette no real Christmas! Period. And that's why the two jokers have brought all kinds of songs with them again this year to passionately guide their audience into the most wonderful time of the year. Of course, the sack full of one-euro instruments and gimmicks that they have been lugging around the country for years is never missing.

A Christmas festival of madness, skillful failure and endless love. Chaotic, highly musical and wild!

For years they were the show band of the NDR Comedy Contest before they got their first own TV show called "Comedy mit Karsten" on MDR in 2014. Their second TV show, "slamdr", followed in 2017. Individually or together, they were nominated for the Grimme Prize and Prix Pantheon, among others, and won several prizes, including the German-language poetry slam championships three times in different categories.

After over 600 concerts throughout the German-speaking world and four albums, a best of the Weihnachtsschmonzette was recently released as a CD and download by Voland & Quist.
