Jungle

In the organizer's words:

Dance, dance and dance some more - that's probably the motto of the British funk band Jungle. They have been a global force with their energetic sound for over ten years.

In the beginning, there was little information available about Jungle: The band members were given as "J" and "T" without showing their faces. We now know who is behind the phenomenon. School friends Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland founded Jungle in 2013 and immediately attracted international attention with their self-titled debut album.

Community and collaboration have always been at the forefront of Jungle - instead of showing themselves, their music videos are always collaborations with a loose collective of dancers and choreographers. They have also enlisted support for their live performances from the very beginning and now perform with a seven-piece line-up.

They became more electronic with their second album "For Ever" in 2018, but remained true to their mix of neo-funk, hip-hop and modern soul. With their third album "Loving in Stereo" (2021), they reached the top 3 of the album charts in their home country for the first time, before breaking all records with "Volcano". The fourth studio album, released in 2023, included the single "Back on 74", which went platinum in both the US and the UK and earned the band their first Brit Award.

In 2024, Lydia Kitto became an official member of the band after having been part of the live band for many years. As a trio, Jungle will release their eagerly awaited new album "Sunshine" in August 2026 and play a worldwide arena tour across several continents.

The tour promises a lot! A Jungle show is less of a conventional concert and more of an endless party. The infectious energy of the songs, the chemistry within the band members and the exciting soundscape between vocals and live instruments make every concert a pure declaration of love for the music. This November, Jungle, with support from Rio Kosta, will bring the party to Germany for three exclusive shows - there's no better place to let loose.
