Karlheinz Fleder, „Fish & Blues in Focus“

In the organizer's words:

Fish & Blues - An idea born during the crisis

The idea for Fish & Blues came to Guido Berg during his Easter vacation in Provence in 2002. The name reflects his passion for cooking as well as his love of blues music. The basic idea: an open stage every Wednesday evening for blues-oriented music and fresh fish dishes - in the Glockenbachwerkstatt.

The musicians Wolfi Klimt, Stani Kirov and Andi Sturm were there right from the start. Over time, many other musicians joined the sessions, giving each evening its own unique atmosphere.

In recent years, the character of Fish & Blues has changed. The stage is now open to bands of all styles - and is already fully booked well into 2027.

About me: Karlheinz Fleder

I have been a regular guest at the Wednesday evenings for many years and have been taking photos since the early days of Fish & Bl ues. The artists on stage tolerate my camera with goodwill.
The focus of this exhibition is on the first ten years - from 2004 to 2014.
