In "Dive into You", choreographer and performer Kat Válastur combines the highly symbolic figure of the female oracle with the photosynthetic processes and growth of trees. She draws parallels between female oracles, which act as gateways to the divine in trance, and trees, which produce energy and oxygen through photosynthesis. By transferring this analogy into the theater space, she creates a captivating solo - revealing dynamic elements such as vibrations, spirals and circles. Inspired by the deep, resonant sounds of the wooden percussion instrument semantron, a percussive choreography unfolds, carried by a composition by musician Aho Ssan and Válastur's own voice. The work turns out to be an oracle that wants to connect us with our most secret and tender part.
