Katie Melua

Katie Melua is one of the most successful British artists of our time.

Born in Tbilisi (Georgia), she moved to the UK as a child and graduated from the renowned BRIT School of Performing Arts. She enchanted an audience of millions with her debut "The Closest Thing to Crazy" in 2003. Since then, she has thrilled audiences around the world with her extraordinary voice, her emotional depth and her fine sense of melody.

Following acclaimed albums such as Call Off The Search, Piece By Piece and In Winter, her latest work Love and Money was recently released by BMG. On stage, Katie Melua not only impresses with her unique voice, but also with her personal charisma and intimate closeness to her audience.

On August 26, she will be performing in the atmospheric Amphitheater Gelsenkirchen.
