Mobility ideas that whet the appetite for tomorrow!

How will people in Germany travel car-free and climate-friendly in the future? "Picnic on the highway" offers concrete and detailed answers and is therefore a doping for our imagination. The roles are clearly assigned: Mario Sixtus, an author and science fiction filmmaker often at home in the day after tomorrow, writes short stories of an optimistic future. As a mobility expert, Katja Diehl carries out a reality check: what of this vision could actually be realized in the near future?

Katja Diehl, born in 1973, hosts the podcast "SheDrivesMobility". She has received numerous awards for her SPIEGEL bestsellers "Autokorrektur" and "Raus aus der Autokratie". Katja Diehl lives in Hamburg.

Mario Sixtus, born in 1965, is a filmmaker, screenwriter and journalist. His sci-fi films "Operation Naked" and "Hyperland" were nominated for the Grimme Prize; he makes documentaries for ZDF and Arte. Mario Sixtus lives in Berlin.
