The artistically condensed audio walk leads around the filled-in Überseehafen basin in Bremen's Überseestadt district. Where ships from all over the world once came and went, there is now a new development area worth billions. Through the use of texts, sound collages and original sounds, the past of the place is evoked before the audience's inner eye and the radical change is made tangible. The audio walk uses artistic means to open up associative spaces in a poetic way. The audience is invited to establish a very personal relationship with the place. The overlapping of different time levels connects the past, present and future and places history in the current discourse.
