Paper has played an important role in cultural history for over 2000 years. It accelerated developments in art and communication in a special way. The exhibition is divided into two sections:
- The history and production of paper
- The cultural and artistic uses of paper
Kapier Papier begins with the precursors of today's paper and sheds light on the human need for expression and communication. Visitors learn about different raw materials, create their own paper and discover paper in a wide variety of everyday and art forms - from theater and fashion to music and visual arts.
The exhibition is suitable for everyone aged 4 and over. Participation, modification and creation are expressly encouraged!
