We know many words for money and yet we talk far too rarely about what it does to us, how it affects us and how we can handle it well. Not at school, not with friends and not in many families either. But knowledge is power, which is why PINKE PINKE uses dance and rap to break down the dimensions of money on stage - for the empowerment of us all!
PINKE PINKE shows how money works and how we live in a global system of imbalance and arbitrariness that makes it actively harder or easier for some to be wealthy. Given the undeniable necessity of money, the artistic team asks: can other forms of wealth such as creativity, professional fulfillment, friendship or love compete at all?

Khadidiatou Bangoura is originally from Liberia and Guinea. She was born in France and grew up in Germany. Khadidiatou Bangoura uses dance as a means to analyze our relationships with ourselves, with our environment and with each other - for new narratives, better self-knowledge and more self-reflection.
Among the artists she has worked with are Okwui Okpokwasili, Ester Ambrosino (Tanztheater Erfurt), Rafaële Giovanola (Cocoon Dance), Jan Pusch, Melissa Guex, Felix Dompreh (Kuyum Arts) and Horacio Macuacua. Her own choreographic works include Adult-ish (2017), The heart is a muscle (2017), fight, flight, freeze (2020), Moving Structures (2021), FÜHL DIE WELT DURCH MEINE HAUT - Observations on everyday racism (2021) and LIFE IS A JUNGLE (2024).

Since March 2023, she has been offering inclusive dance workshops for blind, visually impaired and sighted dance enthusiasts and, since April 2024, the PLAYTIME series, in which dance enthusiasts from a wide range of backgrounds and experience levels come together to improvise.
