KINO ASYL - Filme aus unserer Heimat

For many, KINO ASYL is now a fixed date in the annual calendar, for others it is a new discovery. On Sunday, November 23, 2025, young people with refugee experience will present films from their home countries at Bellevue di Monaco. The topics are sometimes informative, sometimes entertaining, but always personally meaningful for the curators who selected them. This combination of film and individual perspective opens up new insights for the audience. Following the screening, Q&As with the curators offer space for questions, classification and encounters. This creates an open space in which curiosity, respect and empathy are paramount.
Curated anew each year, the team shows special contributions from different regions of the world, often for the first time in Germany. The Munich audience is invited to discover great films, engage in conversation and get to know people whose stories are otherwise rarely heard. From November 22 to 28, the film festival can be visited not only at the Bellevue di Monaco but also at other cultural venues: the Münchner Kammerspiele, the NS-Dokumentationszentrum, the Gasteig HP8, the HFF and the Kunstlabor2.
