Kino im DAH: Revenge – Our Dad the Nazi Killer

On September 28, 2025 at 6:00 pm, the Menorah - Liberal Jewish Community Bremen/Bremerhaven will be showing the feature film Revenge - Our Dad the Nazi Killer, a documentary by Danny Ben-Moshe, at the Roxy Cinema.
After the Second World War, Boris Green moved from Belarus to Australia. But tracing his life becomes a thriller - every mystery solved raises new questions, and his sons begin to doubt their father's stories. Was he, a former partisan, involved in the hunt for hidden Nazis?
When their own investigations come to nothing, the sons hire a detective to uncover new leads and clues. In his documentary, Danny Ben-Moshe reconstructs the biography of a man who had a lot to hide. In doing so, the film raises fundamental questions: Were war criminals protected by secret services after the war? Is vigilante justice legitimate when the justice system fails? And can revenge bring about historical justice?
The film will be shown in English with German subtitles. The film will be followed by a discussion.
