The scandalous events in Rostock-Lichtenhagen, where in the summer of 1992 youthful hooligans set fire to a hostel of Vietnamese immigrants after days of pogroms, are condensed into a series of small stories in this 2013 feature film drama. It focuses not only on the victims and the political failures, but also on the young arsonists who flirt with right-wing sentiments but are not yet Nazis.
