KINTSUGI - Narben aus Gold

In the organizer's words:

Kintsugi - Scars of gold

A workshop for people who have experienced loss

Sometimes life breaks into pieces - through loss, parting or change. In the Kintsugi workshop, we address these fractures with mindfulness and creativity.

Inspired by the Japanese art of connecting broken things with gold, we will carefully create our own symbol for what was and what may become.

You can choose freely between a heart, a bowl or a plate made of Raysin or ceramic.

Together we create space for grief, exchange and new perspectives.

Procedure:

  • Arrival, welcome
  • General information about Kintsugi
  • Start with a heart meditation
  • Practical part:
  • The moment of the whole
  • The break in life
  • Perceiving and accepting the fragments
  • The mindful joining together
  • Looking at the new
  • Conclusion and reflection
  • Conclusion with a cup of tea

No previous handicraft knowledge necessary - just openness and the willingness to give yourself time.

Leader: Grief counselor Karin Selzer
