Lecture by Stefan Ebert

Stefan Ebert has been traveling in the countries along the old Silk Road for over 10 years. First as a development worker in Kyrgyzstan for two years and later as a tour guide throughout the region. On a cycling trip from Kyrgyzstan to Germany 10 years ago, he got to know the hospitality along the old Silk Road and has traveled back there every year since then - whether by bike across the Pamirs, on horseback through the lonely high valleys of Kyrgyzstan or on foot to the peaks of Uzbekistan.

In his lecture "Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan - outdoor adventures in Central Asia", he provides insights into numerous journeys, very personal experiences and friendships and talks about how the region has changed. You can expect breathtaking landscape shots and stories of moving encounters.
