As part of the festive week celebrating the 20th anniversary of the "Freunde und Förderer der Stephaner Kirchenmusik e.V.", the duo anaka will be performing a birthday concert for the music association on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 7.30 pm in St. Stephan (Zillertalstr. 47).

Katharina Wittmann (flute) and Andreas Wittmann (guitar) will perform works by Ferdinando Carulli, Mauro Giuliani, Jaques Ibert and Scott Joplin under the title "Klangblüten".

Just as a blossom exudes its fragrance and permeates a room, the delicate sounds of flute and guitar mingle in the clear acoustics of St. Stephen's to create a unique listening experience.

The duo anaka

The two artists have been working together professionally and privately since 1992. This connection led to the founding of the "musikatelier" in Holzkirchen in 1997, which has since become a center of this creative partnership. In addition to teaching music, concertizing is a second focus, which manifested itself in the founding of the "anaka duo" in 1999. The combination of flute and guitar enables the optimal development of both instruments and at the same time offers an extraordinary sound aesthetic. anaka's repertoire comprises baroque and contemporary works and includes both original compositions and transcriptions.
