A treat for all the senses - this is the motto of the Klassik & Cocktails open-air concerts in the courtyard of Kornbrennerei Krämer, which are taking place for the fourth time as an atmospheric classical event. Dortmund's cultural exports Anouchka & Katharina Hack, cellist and pianist on renowned concert stages, are returning to their home town and inviting top-class musician friends to a joint home performance.
On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, the courtyard of the Krämer distillery will become an open-air concert hall with a cocktail bar - drinks from 6 pm, concert at 7 pm.
This year, Anouchka Hack, cellist, and Noelia Cotuna, harpist from Valencia, will be performing their program "Kneipenmukke": Music between sunset and dawn that transports you to smoky dive bars in Buenos Aires, Spanish flamenco bars, the jazz cellars of New Orleans and Irish pubs.
Music from the moment that invites you to dance, to clap, to let go and to feel weightless at the end of a long day. Music that tells of life and connects people in one of the oldest places in the public community - the pub.
This unusual classical music program needs a special location: the traditional Dortmund family business of Kornbrennerei Krämer has been synonymous with enjoyment for over 150 years, and so exquisite drinks will be paired with classical music in the atmospheric courtyard on a late summer evening. The cocktails will be specially designed and mixed for this evening by the Dortmund bar "Balke".
Children and young people up to the age of 18 have Free admission to the concert. Cocktails cost extra, non-alcoholic cocktails are also available.
