Classical music meets beatbox: The Twiolins feat. Robeat

Two musical worlds merge at this concert: classical music and beatboxing. The combination of these two genres creates new musical structures and impressive sound impressions. The violin sounds meet powerful beats, sound effects and vocal percussion - a sound combination that combines classical and urban music culture in an innovative way.

The duo The Twiolins consists of violinists Marie-Luise Dingler and Marta Danilkovich. They are dedicated to the trend of progressive classical music, which combines classical traditions with elements of minimal music, avant-garde, jazz and art pop. The aim is to further develop classical music and create new approaches to the listening experience. The duo's artistic profile is characterized by international concert activities, appearances at renowned festivals and a presence on national and international radio and television.

Robeat is currently the reigning European beatboxing champion. As a "human beatbox", he works exclusively with his voice and a microphone. His repertoire ranges from techno and drum-and-bass rhythms to hip-hop sounds and elements of singing and comedy. Robeat is a regular guest in TV formats, at gala events and cultural projects.

The evening's program ranges from works by baroque composer Antonio Vivaldi to compositions by Astor Piazzolla, who was inspired by the combination of classical music with modern influences, to contemporary works by Edmund Jolliffe and Ewelina Nowicka.
