Classic city tour on Saturdays in Advent - Lüneburg in Christmas splendor!

Experience the sights of Lüneburg on a classic city tour through the medieval quarters of the old town.

Along the way, an experienced guide will tell you informative and entertaining stories about the Hanseatic city, the salt and its inhabitants. We pass the magnificent gabled houses of the Sülfmeister and master brewers, walk through the quiet alleyways of the sink area and stroll along the historic town wall.

We start at the market square in front of the stairs at the district court - the former Herzogenschloss - and end at the historic harbor on the Ilmenau. There, the stalls and stands of the Christmas market at the old crane are already waiting for you to warm up again after the tour.

Meeting point: Stairs in front of the entrance to the district court on the market square
End point: Old crane in the harbor on the Ilmenau

We recommend being at the meeting point approx. 10 minutes before the start. Please have your ticket ready (on your smartphone or printed out). The tour leads through streets with cobblestones, so we recommend sturdy shoes and of course warm clothing.
