"Clothes from everyone for everyone" - big swap party at Rollwerk

The youth education center and the climate protection management of the city of Rüsselsheim am Main invite you to a big clothes swap party in cooperation with the Rollwerk.

Under the motto "Clothes from everyone for everyone", people can swap clothes to their heart's content on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 11:00 to 15:00 at Rollwerk.

The event sends out a clear signal for sustainability and conscious consumption. Instead of buying new, items of clothing in good condition are given a second chance - this conserves resources, avoids waste and makes an active contribution to climate protection.

How the swap party works

• A maximum of 10 items per person can be brought along
• The clothes must be freshly washed and in good condition
• No underwear or damaged goods

The clothes brought along can then be swapped on site - without any money.

Supporting program around sustainable fashion

In addition to the swap meet, there is a varied accompanying program:

🎬 Film screening on the topic of fast fashion
A film highlights the effects of the fast fashion industry and encourages people to think about sustainable alternatives.

✂️ Upcycling station in the front area of the Rollwerk
This is where newly swapped items of clothing can be creatively "pimped" and customized - from small alterations to creative embellishments.

☕ Coffee & cake
Rollwerk also provides a cozy atmosphere and offers coffee and cake.

The swap meet is aimed at young people and adults alike and combines climate protection with community and creativity.

The city of Rüsselsheim am Main is looking forward to welcoming numerous swappers who want to set an example for sustainable consumption. Everyone is welcome to come along, browse and have a good time together
