When the sun slowly sets, it's usually time to turn up the curbs in this small town - but not with us!

On August 22, we present the Kleinstadtgeflüster Poetry Slam in picturesque Oer-Erkenschwick as an open air event and, above all, free of charge!

Once again, we will be transforming JOE's into a venue for the art of words: four experienced poetry slammers will sweeten your evening with their texts and, of course, you will be asked to decide who should ultimately win. As always, it will be exciting and serious, thought-provoking and, of course, incredibly funny.

On August 21, we will open our doors to anyone who wants to play with words themselves, whether for the first time or with experience. In our free writing workshop, you can refine your texts, try your hand at it or simply get a taste of it. If you're confident enough, you'll even have the opportunity to take to the stage yourself the following day and present your texts.

Whether you want to listen, sing along or just be there - come along, bring your friends and let's prove together that the curbs can stay in place even at dusk!
