KLICKCLUB – FOTOTREFF MIT SABINE VON BASSEWITZ

In the organizer's words:

On November 5, we have the photographer Sabine von Bassewitz as our guest: Sabine studied at the HAW Hamburg and has since worked as a freelance artist with a focus on photography, but is always open to crossing borders between disciplines. In recent years, she has expanded her artistic practice to include new media: generative AI - beyond the bias - and, more recently, the medium of film. In her work, analog sensibility and digital experimentation merge into an exciting dialog about perception, identity and technological aesthetics.

In the Klickclub, she will talk about her work and we will take a closer look at two of her series, including her ongoing "Project Village Image" and "The symptoms of multiple sclerosis". The images in this series are prompted descriptions of the symptoms of multiple sclerosis, which are invisible to the outside world and therefore cannot be visualized photographically. Sabine will talk about her artistic development and give insights into her processual approach. We are looking forward to the evening with her and you!

Our click club: photo meeting for everyone! Let's watch films together, look at pictures, browse through photo books, view works and simply sit together over a drink. We'll prepare something and you just come along. We are open to ideas and suggestions, topics and requests. The AFF Klickclub always starts at 6:30 pm in our Hasselbrookstraße office and is aimed at anyone who wants to get involved with photography. Come along and have a nice evening with us!
