Kollapszone Rage Against Wiesn - Our body, not your Gaudi
While beer mugs and machos circle outside, we bring in the punk bands and turn the tables. No sexist beer tent patriotism, no grabbing hands - instead a stage for FLINTA*, rage and radical solidarity. Shadows instead of fairy lights, mosh pits instead of beer benches. Loud, uncomfortable and uncompromising.
Zine workshop "Reclaim Dahoam" with Tante Trash
The Wiesn shapes the image of Munich. It spreads clichés of pseudo-Bavarian traditions, ugly conservative values and financial carelessness in endless consumption. However, these things do not correspond to our reality. In the workshop, we work on our own image of Munich. What is everyday life in a Bavarian city really like? How could it be better? What makes this place (not) our home? What could we celebrate instead of traditional carnival and binge drinking? You will design your zine using snippets from old magazines, books and postcards. You are also welcome to bring your own material. Very important: You don't have to know or be able to prepare anything. Anyone can make zines. And they are best when they are imperfect English-speaking participants are also very welcome.
Silk
When you hear Silk for the first time, you inevitably think of smoky basement clubs between London and Brighton. Yet the three-piece hail from Düsseldorf and Cologne. The newcomer band is well on the way to bringing a breath of fresh air to the German alternative scene - with a sound so international that you have to listen twice. Melodic guitar riffs, striking basslines, powerful drums and energetic vocals convey a raw force that is somewhere between punk, grunge and alternative rock. With their English-language songs, Silk tackle topics that reflect the zeitgeist: It's about love, self-discovery, anger, social pressure and the emotional chaos of a searching generation. The band unleashes its full power live - loud, raw and rousing. Anyone who attends a concert rarely stands still. The energy is infectious and their presence is unmistakable. Inspired by artists such as Amyl and the Sniffers, Fontaines D.C. or Mannequin Pussy, Silki describe their sound as versatile, creative and above all loud.
Pure Dirt
Away from the need for perfection. Away from norms. Out of the machine. Melancholy meets aggression. Fear, then supermarket. Pure Dirt express this emotional world in their shows with a mixture of punk and rock. Sometimes moshpit thunderstorms, sometimes calm before the storm. The band confronts these paradigms of modern life in their unrestrained live performances. The already released singles "Maschine" and "Imprison Me" will be followed by further releases this summer. Led by the relentless punk track "Punkt an dem ich beiss", which will be released on April 30th.
