Kollektiv Turmstrasse is one of the most influential German live acts in electronic music and has significantly influenced the international house and techno sound over the years. With constant stylistic development and courageous changes of direction, the project stands for artistic progress and musical depth - beyond trends and stagnation. Nico Plagemann is the man behind Kollektiv Turmstrasse. His music moves confidently between sensitive breakbeats, driving house tracks and emotional dancefloor anthems. In doing so, he constantly opens up new musical spaces: influences from indie dance, techno, hip-hop and pop flow in just as naturally as soul and classic house aesthetics. His sound is a crossover of everything that inspires him - warm, groovy and unmistakable.

Kollektiv Turmstrasse was originally founded as a duo in Wismar, named after the shared street where the first tracks were created. With the album "Rebellion der Träumer", the project laid an early foundation, which was followed by numerous releases on renowned labels such as Kompakt, Diynamic, Cocoon, Fabric and FFFR. Following the departure of Christian Löffler, Nico continued to develop the project as a solo act - not as a break, but as a natural next step.
