Konzert des Philharmonischen Orchesters Aachen

In its second concert, the Aachen Philharmonic Orchestra follows on from its successful premiere concert in March and once again makes a symphony by Ludwig van Beethoven the main work. After the Eroica, Beethoven's 6th Symphony, the "Memories of Country Life" or "Pastoral Symphony", is now on the program. Complemented by Stravinsky's Pulcinella Suite and Mozart's Magic Flute Overture, the young Aachen Philharmonic Orchestra, which was only founded in 2024, invites you to the concert under the direction of Dutch conductor Harry Vorselen. The audience can expect music from the classical Mozart opera, the neoclassical Stravinsky ballet and a Beethoven symphony that is as monumental as it is sensitive, which may also awaken memories of the feelings of the fading summer in the listener.
