The word "rock poet" was once invented for him - for a movie about his life - shortly after he died of an "overdose of life" in 1996. He was probably a rock poet too. After all, he wrote the soundtrack to squatting, demonstrating, fighting for a better, fairer world and, not to forget, the most beautiful love songs far and wide.
