Konzert: NEST mit Eydis Evensen

Icelandic composer and pianist Eydís Evensen captivates listeners worldwide with her profound soundscapes. Classically trained, but guided by instinct and feeling, Evensen creates music beyond all genre boundaries: flowing between modern classical music, atmospheric minimalism, cinematic composition and quiet introspection. Evensen writes from experience, memories, pain and joy in equal measure, without glossing over or disguising these feelings. Each piece tells a story that is reinterpreted with every performance.

NEST - The PIANEO Festival for Neoclassical Music series creates a temporary safe space for quiet sounds and particularly intimate concerts in the auditorium of the LWL Museum of Art and Culture. A grand piano stands in the middle of the room, surrounded by a few warm light sources. The audience can make themselves comfortable around the artists on blankets and cushions they have brought with them. You are welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks.
