The Kurdish singer Hêja Netirk and the Colombian producer Rico Danta are LOMA REQS and on February 7th we celebrate the release of their debut album "Qemirî" with a concert and a party. "Qemirî" ("Sunburn") is a bold clash of modern Kurdish poetry, electronic music, improvisation, rap and traditional singing. From ironic feminist wedding songs to relentless reflections on national oppression and colonialism, LOMA REQS are angry and danceable.
