Konzert: Sunveil + Scott Evil (Shoegaze/Emo/Dreampop)

Between dreamy fog and massive walls of guitars - Sunveil create a sound that embraces and shakes you up in equal measure. The Kassel-based band combines 90s shoegaze with modern dreampop and a pinch of emo melancholy. Distorted, effect-soaked guitars, driving bass and soaring vocals form a dense, emotional soundscape in which pain and beauty meet.
Following their debut EP at the beginning of 2024 and this year's single "Vertigo" - the first taste of the upcoming album "Shape Shifter", which is currently in the final production phase. Live, Sunveil will be raw, intense and approachable - with new songs that will be heard on stage for the first time.
The band enjoys touring the DIY scene with acts such as Desire Line, Between Bodies and Scott Evil, including at AKZ Suhl, Emokeller Essen, K19 Berlin and B-Side Münster.

In terms of content, irrelevant pop culture references meet themes about going home with some caustic men breathing down your neck ("Walking home alone"), with which the junkers know how to cover a lot of ground. Whether it's lying on the grass together and dreamily immersing yourself in the last days of summer or lovingly and considerately hammering your elbows into the pit of your stomach to the one-hit wonder "Michael Cera is my dealer" - these 5 friends from Cologne definitely have the right music.
