Konzert: Tauben / Reduziert / Klara Geist (Punk)

In the organizer's words:

A bit ugly, a bit rancid. But beautiful. A projection surface for your own disgust and the heraldic animal of social deviance. The shabbiness screams in your face. But who is shabby here? - Tauben come from Hamburg and make something like wave punk. They hurl razor-sharp, cynical and often witty fragments of text at their listeners, set to jagged, punky rhythms that accomplish the small feat of making you think as well as dance. All according to the motto: Better a pigeon on the roof than a bird in the hand!

The band Klara Geist, rooted in the North Hessian music scene, consists of the powerful trio Konstantin Walde (drums), Johannes Müller (bass) and Max Amling (guitar and vocals). With their unique blend of hard, rhythmic sounds reminiscent of the American punk bands of the late 70s and early 80s and more melodic, poppy influences from the alternative rock of the 90s, they create a distinctive sound that is both nostalgic and refreshingly new.

There will also be punk rock with Sanktionstheater at Straßenlaterne by Reduziert from Kassel.
