Konzert: Yegor Zabelov

The Belarusian musician Yegor Zabelov presents his experimental blend of accordion ambient, avant-garde jazz and neoclassical music.

Yegor Zabelov is an extremely unique Belarusian accordion player. Zabelov dedicates his work to exploring the possibilities of the instrument he specializes in, often pushing it to its limits. In his hands, the accordion becomes a tool of mystical experiences and his performances a musical ritual.

His music is an experimental mixture of accordion ambient, avant-garde jazz and neoclassical music.

In recent years, Zabelov has concentrated on his solo career. He is a regular guest at European festivals. This year he was selected to perform at WOMEX - the world's largest conference and platform for global music - which takes place in Finland.
