Bundelkhand is not only an attractive geographical region amidst the hills of the Vindhya range in southern Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Located in the heart of India, the former state is an important cultural center with strong ties to history and mythology. Which you can feel at every turn. A significant part of the plot of both the Ramayana and the Mahabharata, the two great ancient Indian epics, is set in Bundelkhand. Even later Indian history cannot ignore this region, and Bundelkhand recurs in every century as the scene of important historical events. Nature and geography are no less fascinating, with countless amazing phenomena and breathtaking views.
The slide show takes us through the enchanting nature of the land into the events of ancient Indian mythology. Be it the waterfall where the Pandava princes from the Mahabharata lived during their exile, or the cave lake, whose depth has not been fathomed to this day and whose water level announces with minute accuracy impending tsunamis in the Bengal Sea more than a thousand kilometers away - nature casts a spell over the viewer, and mythology comes to life in colourful diversity.
