A star chef cooks for himself. A scuba diver confronts her inner ghosts. Two aliens devour humanity - and argue about table manners.
After stops in Halle, Freiburg and the Uckermark, Veit Sprenger (Showcase Beat Le Mot) and Thies Mynther (Phantom/Ghost) are bringing their concert reading format to Bremen, creating a special edition of the "Krach mit Sahne" concert series. Absurdly condensed short texts meet humorous live electronic improvisations. Veit Sprenger reads, Thies Mynther answers. And with a soundtrack of pop, electronic dance music and electro-acoustic improvisation. Those who come eat cake. Whoever leaves has a sound in their head that wasn't there before.
Thies Mynther is a composer, author and music producer and has been involved in the production and release of more than one hundred albums since 1989. He is or has been a permanent member of bands such as Phantom Ghost and Stella, has worked with Miss Kittin, Chicks On Speed and Dillon, and has played well over a thousand concerts. Since 2004 he has occasionally worked as a film musician, composer and sound designer. He has worked as a musical director with Nicolas Stemann, Sebastian Baumgarten, Bastian Kraft, Brit Bartkowiak, Jason Danino Holt and Showcase Beat Le Mot, and has been a guest at the Schauspielhaus Hamburg, Deutsches Theater Berlin, Hebbel am Ufer and Staatstheater Mainz, among others.
