Inspired by the exhibition Amazônia. Indigenous Worlds, which shows the fascinating variety of indigenous feather jewelry art from the Amazon region, this workshop invites children and families to get creative themselves. Together we will discover the origins of the colorful feathers and learn about the birds that once wore them. Using colorful clay and tissue paper, we design imaginative bird creatures that are given a magnificent, self-designed plumage - inspired by the beauty and symbolic power of indigenous traditions and ideas. The exhibition can be visited independently afterwards (ticket purchase required).
