A crime trail is no ordinary city tour: you move through the city outdoors, investigate with the help of your smartphone, collect clues, question suspects and decide for yourself which leads to follow. Without any time pressure, deadlines or fixed routes, you will discover Bamberg's special corners - and become a team of investigators in the middle of the action.
In the "Witch Hunt" case, the past and present in Bamberg become disturbingly blurred. Witch burnings are considered a dark chapter in history - but suddenly threats emerge that tie in with this. Two women have already been threatened with the stake. Now it's Nasrin - and this time it seems to be getting serious: The fire is already burning. The police are working under high pressure because the situation is confusing. At first glance, there are hardly any connections between the people involved, the possible perpetrators seem elusive and there is a worrying thought in the air: is it a targeted perpetrator or several copycats? And is Nasrin really in acute danger?
Now it's up to you. Equipped with a digital investigation file, you make your way through Bamberg to shed light on the case. You collect evidence, check statements, uncover contradictions and constantly have to reassess who you can trust. Every decision counts - because not every lead leads in the right direction.
Your investigations will lead you through the special corners of the city: through winding alleyways, past well-known places such as the university or Little Venice and up to the most beautiful vantage points. The historical backdrop adds depth to the case and makes each stop more than just a location - it becomes part of the story.
