The Lippe will once again turn a bloody red in 2025 when the popular crime festival "Bloody Lippe" takes place for the fifth time. During the festival, German-language crime writers will travel to locations along the Lippe to transform the region into crime scenes. Their weapons in their luggage are exciting crime novels focused on the region. Lünen will once again be the scene of the (murder) action.
Festival director Hartmut Marks and author and publisher Magnus See will kick things off on October 30 from 7 p.m. (admission from 6.30 p.m.) at the Bürger-Bücherei-Brambauer. The well-rehearsed crime duo -"Partners in Crime" so to speak - will put together an entertaining program of witty moderation, exciting and humorous short crime stories and a crime quiz with attractive prizes.
